Agenda for Week of May 4-8, 2020 (sent via email on May 3, 2020): same ZOOM link as last week.
Dear Calculus Students,
I am SO incredibly grateful to those of you who have been engaged in the learning since March 13, 2020. I know that this has proven to be a difficult time - more so for some than for others. But, we have all managed and found a way to persevere and for that, I thank you and your families for the support as we continue to focus and finish strong.
This week, we will focus on "average value" and summarizing what we have learned over the last few weeks. Our first ZOOM call will cover a review of what we have done thus far. During the first call, we will complete four questions and collaborate over them. Our second ZOOM call will begin with a textbook assignment from our text book, section 5.1, exercises 1 and 2. Please have exercises 1 and 2 from section 5.1 completed and emailed to me at the start of the second call. We will finish our second call with an overview of average value. There will be no Khan Academy assignments this week.
Please take care of yourselves and your families, and wash your hands!

Agenda for Week of April 27 - May 1, 2020 (sent via email on April 26, 2020): same ZOOM link as last week.
Dear Calculus Students,
This week we will cover Accumulation and Riemann Sums. During our first ZOOM call of the week, I will introduce the concept of over estimate and under estimate as well as rectangular approximation methods. You have already received a notification from Khan Academy for the assignments that are due on Friday, May 1, 2020. Please observe the Khan Academy videos and take notes in your notebook as you work your way through the videos and interactive exercises. I will not assign additional worksheets or textbook work for this week.
On our second ZOOM call of the week, I will clarify questions that might arise after watching the videos and attempting to complete the exercises. This plan will give you ample time to complete the assigned work by Friday's deadline. After this, we will discuss average value. See you soon!
Please take care, and wash your hands.
